Chengdu Experimental Foreign Languages School West Campus (CEFLSWC)
is another modern foreign languages school with high specification.
It has 23 classed with a total of 1118 students and now a staff of
130 are working here. The school adopts a system of separated
ownership and management. The headmaster acts with sufficient
freedom of running the school under the leadership of the board of
directors.
Located on Xinggang Road, West Hi-tech Developing Zone of Chengdu,
the school covers 140 Chinese mu. It¨s built in unique style with
over RMB113 million yuan invested and has complete equipment and
enough accommodation for 2100 students. The multi-function classroom
buildings, dining hall and dormitories are about 50,000 square
metres. It¨s equipped with standard labs for physics, chemistry,
biology, computer and multi-media classrooms and classrooms for
piano, dance, gymnastics, music, calligraphy and painting learning.
The sports field is built with 300-metre-long plexipave. Race tracks
and grounds for all kinds of ball games. Each 4-person inner room in
the dormitories is furnished with central airconditioners, four
desks, wardrobes, bookshelves and beds, a toilet and a bathroom with
cold and hot water provided. Networks for TV, wired broadcasting and
tele-communication are installed in the school. The greenbelt covers
50% of the campus area.
